Handré Daffue

Handré has 15 years’ experience in private equity, M&A, corporate finance and auditing with KPMG, C2C Capital and Nomura. His experience is predominantly focused on fast moving consumer products, healthcare, apparel and homeware across Africa, USA, Eastern Europe and Australia.
He is a former director of Marlin Brands Australia (R3bn sales and R400m EBITDA) and a current director of Montego Pet Nutrition, Econo Foods and DC Foods.
Handré is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BAcc (Hons) from the University of Stellenbosch.

Marcel Boezaart
MBA (INSEAD, Cum Laude), CA(SA), BAcc (Hons) (Stell)
Marcel has 12 years’ experience in the corporate finance, private equity and strategy consulting industries with PwC, C2C Capital and Bain & Company. He has experience in the consumer goods, homeware, healthcare, and clothing and apparel sectors in Africa and Europe.
Marcel is the seed funder and chairman of Freedom of Movement, a South African footwear, apparel and accessories brand. He is also a director of Montego Pet Nutrition, Econo Foods and DC Foods.
Marcel is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a BAcc (Hons) from the University of Stellenbosch and an MBA from Insead.

Willie Ross
MBA (Harvard), BAccLLB (Stell)
Willie started his career at the US investment bank J.P. Morgan. From there he joined global private equity firm The Carlyle Group ($376bn AUM) as a member of the Africa Fund. During his time at Carlyle, he executed and managed investments across several industries, including healthcare (Abacus), retail (Tiger Wheel & Tyre), technology (Amecor), packaging (Tessara) and logistics (J&J Africa). He is a former director of South African security network operator Amecor and agri-packaging manufacturer Tessara.
Willie holds a BAccLLB from the University of Stellenbosch and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
